Linear Park (yet to formally named)

Linear Park

The City is currently building a new park that will run along the southern edge of NE Conser Road.  The park is currently called Linear Park, but a formal name will be determined in the future.   The park will be located between the existing NE Conser Road and the new street, NE Transition Parkway (being built in tandem with the park). The park will be a passive/active park comprised primarily of landscaping, a 12-foot-wide multi-use path, and sidewalk connections to nearby roadways. The park will include a retaining wall and a vegetated berm that will provide a buffer between residentially zoned lands to the north and industrial lands to the south.

The project has been reviewed by the City Parks Commission, the Planning Commission and the City Council.  For more information see the Public Works here, the Planning web page for the approval of the project here, or the updates page here.  See the images below for an idea of what the Park will look like.

The Park is scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2026.
