Events Planning Committee

The Events Planning Committee plans and facilitates various events that happen throughout the City throughout the year, typically including Celebration, a Celebration of Lights holiday event each December, and other events the Committee plans. As requested by City Council, the Committee may coordinate other City-wide events.

The Events Planning Committee currently has openings for volunteers to join the committee. The Committee must have a minimum of eight (8) members, with a maximum of 14. 

Participation requires a time commitment of approximately 1 hour per month for a meeting and other hours as needed for events. As events approach, members will meet more as needed to finalize plans.
