2024 City of Millersburg Councilor Elections

The filing period for appearing on the ballot for the position of councilor runs from 8 a.m. on June 5, 2024,  through 5 p.m. on August 27, 2024. Candidate applications will be available at City Hall no earlier than 8 a.m. on June 5.

Please allow at least 5-7 business days for signature verifications. As a guideline, signature petitions must be submitted to the City Recorder no later than August 20, 2024, in order to allow signature verification with Linn County. 

 

For the November 2024 elections, there are three City Councilor positions open.

Filing for Candidacy for Non-Partisan Nomination to the City of Millersburg City Council on the November 5, 2024 General Election ballot (this will be updated as candidates applications are complete and approved):

Position#1 -Candidate Mark Raum

Position#2- Candidate Richard D. Perdue

Position#3- Write-in

In a residential zone, limited temporary signage is permitted. Signs not exceeding six (6) square feet in area or four (4) feet in height during the period from 120 days before a public election or the time the election is called, whichever earlier, to seven (7) days after the public election. 

In a non-residential area, please contact the City's Community Development Director for more information. 

No temporary sign shall be placed within, extend into or over the public rights-of-way or any street except allowed temporary traffic control signs or signs placed by any government agency.
