CUP 24-01 Omni Energy- Green Energy Transload Facility

An application for a Conditional Use Permit was submitted by Omni Energy Trading, LLC (Omni Energy) proposing a green energy transload facility project in Millersburg. The project would entail bringing low carbon fuels (renewable diesel) via rail and transferring the product directly to trucks for regional distribution. The project would take place on the Mid-Willamette Valley Intermodal Center property. This property was redeveloped in 2022 as an intermodal facility at the former International Paper Mill site. This redevelopment included the construction of additional rail access, internal roads, and various utilities.  The application would build on the previous approval for the Intermodal Facility by adding an additional permitted product at the facility, renewable diesel fuel.  The facility would still be available for all previously approved products to use the facility.
