Mobile Food Vendor Information & Permit Application to Operate in a Park

A Mobile Food Units and Vendor (Food Truck) is regulated by our Development Code Chapter 3.25, you can find that section by clicking here. This section explains the requirements, first and foremost that they cannot operate in a public right of way (street).  They require Linn County certification of compliance with health and sanitation standards.  They are also allowed in some zones, and not in others.  See Table 19 in the code (see link above).   

They do not require a permit from the City unless they are proposed in a City Park.   The application to operate in a City Park is below.  Permits are valid for one (1) year and permit fee is $50.
